Check the relay.
Check the plugs that it’s not flooding, check the connections on the fuel tap and pump
You will need a new one
It sounds like the starter solenoid has stuck so it was running of the starter which would run the battery down very quick.
I just got a generic 7.48 kit I do check the size accurately with a micrometer & tbh they are spot on, I have used them on a lot of engines & never had a single issue
7.48 Suzuki size are the ones
It sounds pretty serious to me, only way to find out what’s broken/failed is a strip down.
What have you been riding before or comparing it to
Sorry it’s led sorry replaced as a unit.
If I remember rightly you have to turn it
Remove the rear seat & you access it through there
Make sure the slides are fitted correctly sounds like you have one that’s not been installed right.
No a sprocket nut coming off won’t lose oil, there something more, it could have damaged the oil seal or worse broken a cover, only way is to take a look.
Check the fuse & any connections you can find, if the fuse has gone it indicates that there’s a bare wire somewhere.
Put in gear with the engine off pull the clutch in & can you move it? If you can then it’s going to be something to do with the side stand switch the connection that it plugs into can get corroded so contact cleaner, you can try bridging the connector with a paper clip/wire to eliminate that.

If it’s a fuel injected one check the clock connections at the back also any connections from the coils, the coil check also on carb bikes.
Rectifier/stator is almost certainly at fault
Almost certainly thrust bearing or could be a bust spring
That’s the wrong stator I’m afraid.
