    Logged a few hundred miles since the upgrade. Here are my thoughts.  This brake system upgrade is the best value for money spent since I bought the bike. Dramatic improvements in overall stability, high-speed handling, and low-speed manoeuvring. The Hyoriders club may have saved my marriage.  This is my third attempt to write a product review for the stainless steel braided brake lines. Hopefully this time when I'm done I don't hit the wrong button. I don't really do product reviews. Either the thing works as advertised or it is sent back.  I am taking the time to review the braided brake line kit because Hyoriders shop has been the best customer service experience in all of the thirty years I have been riding motorcycles.  I ride a 2008 Anniversary Edition GV650 efi. It was love at first sight and I paid cash-in-hand. Soon after it became apparent she had not been properly maintained by the two previous owners. I struggled for ages to find legit OEM fitment parts & upgrades. So much so that I've been ripped off by a couple of sites claiming to be licensed distributors.  Hyoriders to the rescue.  There are plenty of bad faith actors out there and my wife and I are really glad I found this site. There are loads of tweaks and mods that provide wee little improvements in performance.  I do love my X-Ring chain conversion and everything else I've bought here.  However, this brake system upgrade is the best overall performance per pound. I now know that if I can only afford one performance upgrade on a bike that it will be stainless steel caliper pistons and steel braided brake lines. It really isn't possible to explain just how much better planted it feels in the corners or the effortless low-speed city street and/or carpark handling. I could try to remember everything I said the first couple attempts to write this review, but I'll just leave you with a couple of observations.   Caution: Take the time to talk with your mechanic to clearly communicate how you want the brake lines routed. Ensure you have all the nylon P-clips or zip-ties, or whatever mounting hardware you prefer for your desired finished look. Confirm with the mechanic where the lines will be routed and how they will be attached. Five minutes, or less. That's all it takes to be certain it looks the way you want.   Also,  Are you running OEM or after-market / reproduction calipers? If so then please ask about a stainless-steel caliper piston rebuild kit to go along with these awesome braided brake lines.     the 520 kit does actually work it changes your gear shifting altogether 5th is more like a 6th gear i have had 70mph out of my aquila gv125 2008 reg and im around 18.5 stone. of course i in my last review did not think much of the kit but i was in the wrong ( FOR THAT IM TRULY SORRY) MY CARBS WERE AT FAULT standard main jets are supposed to be both 87.5 ............................MINE WERE 82.5 BOTH standard pilot jets are supposed to be both 15................................MINE WERE 17.5 BOTH so after doing the upgrade mentioned on here main jets front 90 and rear 92.5 MAIN JETS and PILOT JETS 15 and 2 1/2 turns out with the mixture screws PLUS balancing the carbs . fitting irridium plugs fitting upgraded ngk plug caps found on here my bike has gone from doing 55-60 at a push slowly.............TO A VERY FAST PICK UP AND 70MPH AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY ITS FAST ENOUGH.... LASTS WORD GOES OUT TO MARCEL FOREST HE IS TRULY A GOOD GUY .

    Got a set for my project bike a 12 front 48 rear on my xrx125 and it has made a lot of difference to the way the bike rides, it's not a gear setup I got for top speed I wanted more acceleration so went with a 12/48 set up now the bike not only holds it's top speed but I am able to go up hills or against head winds without changing down a gear, I can even accelerate up hills and change up gears that a normal 125 would struggle with. Apart from the way it helps the bike run, the look of the new setup is so much better than the stock setup. I can't say how long it will last as only done a couple hundred miles, so far it looks good. It's a simple upgrade that's worth the money

    So got this set few weeks ago as i wanted a bit longer gears. im using it in city, heavy traffic, daily commuting. Before was changing gears like a lunatic 1st to 4th non stop.. this set sorted my problem a lot to be fair. 20-35(40 with screaming engine) mph in 3rd gear. 2nd gear comfortably around 25.. unfortunately havent tried whats the max speed now as grown up life sucks and havent had time to push the bike yet

    After a little bit of a struggle I finally got the kit on! Thanks to the forum post that front sprocket was a right ass to get off! The bike feels much nicer to get up to speed, it feels a lot smoother and nicer to ride! So far I’ve noticed an increase of about 5mph on the top speed but I haven’t pushed it to see how far it will go but that extra 5mph gives a more comfortable carriageway experience. Highly reccomend!

    I've added this upgrade onto my bike it's perfect only thing I found was that the front sprocket was a little loose even with the washer. I'm hearing some noise but unsure if it's the upgrade so I can hear the chain go more now if if there's a problem. ============== Admin Reply: Thanks for your feedback, glad you love it like others do!💎 - If your font sprocket has a rattle, please investigate your drive shaft itself, we don't know if your own previous sprocket splines caused any issues to it etc, remember the original OEM sprocket from Hyosung is made in China, another owner made his bike chain adjustment too tight and he lost his engine shaft, so it was a mess! (his own fault) but the original sprocket was badly worn even inside the spline teeth connecting to the front engine shaft , so double check your setup! Remember to check chain slack and keep it lubed well!

    If you are debating whether or not to get the 520 upgrade then the short answer is YES...get it. If you want to know why you should, continue reading...... I was unsure if the expense would be worth the investment, after all the GV125S in it's self is a decent cruiser and with the stock sprockets I could achieve 67 mph if the weather was on my side. I found it slow getting there all the same and at top end the bike would be hurting.....you could hear that she didn't like being redlined. I contacted Hyo Riders and Marcel was so helpful in arranging the upgrade I needed. Once fitted I noticed I was up to speed much, much faster than previous and the gearing and revs seem more in tune. I find that 4th can be a cruising gear....enough pull to get you along and when needed take you to 60 mph , I only really use 5th for when I'm on open carriageways. I have achieved a top end speed with this conversion of 75 MPH and considering I am 12 1/2 stone , the bike has panniers and a topbox and I am fully kitted when riding, I think that is impressive from a upgrade. At this stage I'm sure I have covered most of what is needed to know.....and in fairness , the promises made as to what this 520 upgrade would deliver have been spot on. Well done Hyosung Riders 10/10. Again a big thank you to Marcel for all his help in this, you are a star....

    Where do I start? The beginning I guess 😉 I bought this Beauty, a GV125-S last Month and was not happy with the Power and acceleration, or should I say missing Power of the 14 PS compared to my last ride a Yamaha XV 125 with 11 PS. Dont get me wrong I noticed the difference, but she was just laggy, screaming at me, and the Vibrations when going above 8000 Revs. In 5th gear she hit 10-11000 revs and just stopped power wise, not going any faster than 105 Km/h on the dial. In the German Group on Facebook it was suggested to upgrade the front Sprocket to one with 15 teeth, which I did, She run a little smoother through the Gears and the Engine sounded a bit quieter and wasnt screaming at me, but the loss in Power in the lower Gears, especially going from 2nd to 3rd, and the Top speed of 110 Km/h, which took me ages to get there, wasnt satisfactory, taking her up into the Red again to get here.. Then I saw Marcels post in that Group and decided to buy this Upgrade from the UK and have it shipped to Germany, thanks to Marcel here for the support. What can I say? I took her out on a 3 Hour ride to test, what a difference! The smaller front Sprocket (13) and the Larger Rear Sprocket (Dimension) and 520 Chain is the perfect combination. She shoots up through the Gears, no Jerking, no screaming Engine, next to no Vibrations, just smooth and fast, at 9-10000 Revs in 4th Gear she hits 100 Km/h and in 5th I had her at 120 Km/h and felt like there was still more .... plus it was a windy day 😉 I also ordered the NGK Spark plugs and HT leads which just finishes off a perfect combination. Thanks Marcel and Team, Season nears its end and I just cant wait to get out there next year, the Bike is so much fun now and I dont miss my Yamaha at all 😉

    Just upgraded to these coils, the uprated regulator, the uprated stator and ngk caps with iridium spark plugs. I have to say it made an amazing difference, the bike almost no longer needs choke (less than a minute and only on first start in the morning), acceleration has improved significantly and my bike is now charging (which was my original problem :p). Very happy with all items 🙂 Bike is a 2003 gv250 carby model

    Installed on RC 2018. This will be longer than most reviews but want to get all the details down to help you guys decide. Ladies and gents, the big ticket item on here for the GT family. If you enjoy performance and speed, then my god is it worth it. The damping and preload makes bumps and crests effortless, no bottoming out and chain is free to do it's thing. I have managed to test it here in Ulster on the road race tracks (not when closed roads sadly) and it performed like a dream, ride flows from section to section, cornering is massively improved, I can't fault it. Adjustment is relatively simple, I'm 85kg/6 ft4 so some adjustment/firming was needed out of the box, but all very straightforward, plus a higher set ride height is noticeable for me. Installation is one for one with OEM, would recommend mechanic there to give the bones and links a once over/lubrication and for an extra pair of hands. It is a larger price tag, but it's not everyday we get a company like YSS making a specific product for Hyo's. If you are on the fence, then definitely go for it.

    After reading the reviews and speaking to Marcel I decided on getting this kit and I'm glad I did. Great quality parts and I have noticed a change in performance. I can now get 90mph out of it, which is crazy for a 125 cruser! It will comfortably ride at 70 all day and acceleration has improved to for safely getting away from idiot drivers haha! Would highly recommend

    Bought these along with the o rings when I had the carb's off, you probably wouldn't be bothered changing from the stock one's after all there only clamp's .... wrong. These are much higher quality and you can tighten them up very easily and know you have a good seal between manifold and carb also much easier to position away from the throttle linkage.

    Bought and Installed on RC 2018. Excellent strength, the full kit that is provided is excellent value for money and much better than other providers. Sprocket especially is a great upgrade. Visually it looks great, I will aim to get some photos added to show final product.
