I had this problem with my Gt250r that was not charging.. normal fault, stator was melted but bike was running fine.
Changed the stator, and now bike wont start, and i cant get any faultcodes from it !! Could my ECU have died on me ??

Can you take a video in a very quite area – turn on the bike. And try to start it.
Go to youtube and upload a video ==> set this video as “UNLISTED” (so its not found on youtube searches) ,
Get the video link and paste it here.
Did you get a fault code last time?

I really would recommend upgrading the Reg Rec too that you see on the shop , as the #1 killer for Hyo EFi’s are the Regulators (Hyo doesn’t make em, so its cheap outsourced part sadly)

I can make that video in the morning, Any special thing we are listening for ?? The bike makes all the normal sounds (fuelpump and idle valve) and then is ready to turn over, but just no start, well starter turns over, just no ignition. Will check spark tomorrow.
At the moment, the gas tank is off, cause i was trying to find this sound that the idle speed control valve is making, but the sound is the same with the one i bought from you.
These are the parts i used when stator blew up, thought that china parts for a china bike would be fine, and they tests out fine when messured at !!
Stator that i put in.

That’s the wrong stator I’m afraid.

Wrong stator fella. Also the reg rec is defo a NO. It is so cheap it might aswell burn electronics later 😔I know i said it before but #1 problem for EFi hyosungs is the regulator, it is that big of a deal (since the EFi hyosung has wayyyyyy more electronics than a carb model does) followed by stators next (chinese ones are just woeful)
Your Hyosung is entirely south Korean built (except small things like plug caps are outsourced elsewhere)

Hmm.. so, i guess i just have to buy the parts from you then 🙂
Its not that i dont want to, but its just a pain in the bu.. since you are no longer a EU country, and that makes it a whole lot more expensive for me to buy from you.But is that really the reason for it not to start !!, i would think that it would still start even if it wont charge ?!?

Just to make sure.. Is this the right parts then ??!?
Upgrade Regulator Rectifier {Reg Rec} :: EFi Hyosung GV250 GT250R GT250
Upgrade Magneto Alternator Stator Coil :: GT GV 125 250 + RT RX 125

Hey Martin Send me an email (click CONTACT) at the bottom of the site.
I will do a special one as i will need to order a stator compatible with your bike and I will make also a custom Reg Rec that is 3x bigger.
The stator on this site is for carb models only. I will add a new catalogue of EFi stators on the site as i keep adding products.
Believe me , I wish the UK stayed in EU, because half the stock i buy to fix customers bikes locally comes from EU! – I will find a way to make shipping costs reasonable for you.
