There’s only 3 wires 1 bw is earth 1 high 1 low they run to the switch, get a multimeter on them follow the duff one
What code are you getting?
You have blocked jets in the carb most likely ultrasonic cleaning is really the only way to clean them properly as the little galleries that feed the jets get muck in them as well
Hi there
Smoke off the engine is likely just to be residual oil etc left on the casings from when you rebuilt it or there’s a leak somewhere, check the sparkplug colour to see how the mixture is.
When you remove the hoses from the cylinders you need to fit a blanking plate over the hole in the cylinder, then look towards the back of the crankcase on the left hand side you will see where the hose comes out of the crankcase that’s the one to vent to atmosphere.
If you have left the one way valve block in line then the crankcase cannot vent, at the back of the crankcase is the vent pipe that goes to the valve just remove from the valve & vent it to atmosphere.
The standard headlight is a bit of an odd one, the rim is connected to the headlight so couldn’t fit the led set to it. I purchased a complete she’ll the right size & with a bit of fiddling fits perfectly.
I have fitted a led unit to my gt250, pretty easy to do, new shell the right size was the hardest bit to find but once I got that job done.
Right that’s a little bit different, it’s going to be a process of elimination, my first check would be coil test & check for leaks on any of the vacuum hoses.
It’s most likely going to be carb related, fuel filter, debris in the carb etc in the low range jets. That’s presuming the bike runs fine if off idle
Personally speaking from owning the gt250 fuel injection if you can find a good gt125 get the carb version, fuel injection needs a lot of complex electronics/wiring & believe me the electric side of hyosung leaves shall we say a lot to be desired once sorted it’s ok.
Check the connections could be not quite right, also it could be a duff battery it’s not unknown.
Quite simply it’s moved. Where it fits in the heads & joins together under the bike gives it 2 places where there can be movement it did happen to mine.
Thanks all, other than being a bit sore I’m OK the bike is however in a a right mess, I keep looking at it & wondering how the hell I wasn’t smashed to bits, the impact was about 40mph so I went from 0-40 in 10 yards which was the distance from where I was stationary. Insurance are supplying a hire bike so hopefully it will all be sorted quick.
The clutch cable is most likely frayed so a new one needed, the dash clean all the connections going to it including the one that clips on the back of the dash.
Main fuse is the first thing
Normally they are some where near the battery.
7.48mm is the size.
Running with a low battery would not have damaged the ecu, I’ve a feeling that it’s a damaged/bad connection somewhere hyos have really bad wiring OK for carbs but add efi & all sorts of gremlins will appear. Another thing to check is coils.
