GT650 engine won’t rev past 5000 rpm… Please help

Hi, my bike has been in the garage completely disassembled since 4 months it needed a new piston after the engine rebuilt. The engine won’t rev past 5000 RPMs on idle. I have tried changing the fuel pump the plugs and it’s still the same, has FI code on the dash, if anyone can assist i would really appreciate. Extremely desperate have spent alot on this bike as it is..
