Well today being nice decided to take one of my other toys to work which was my nearly brand new ktm 390 Duke well minding my own business sitting still in traffic & bang find myself flying through the air having being arse ended by a complete idiot, bike is destroyed but luckily other than feeling like I’ve been in a concrete mixer I’m OK. So good old hyo out tomorrow.

OMG! 😢 I really do hope you’re okay and there is no further damage to your organs.  And please get a lawyer and sue the driver for personal grievances too
And his insurance should buy a new Duke. I really really hate idiots like that on the road 😒,  hence we all have to stay extra vigilant these days.

Thanks all, other than being a bit sore I’m OK the bike is however in a a right mess, I keep looking at it & wondering how the hell I wasn’t smashed to bits, the impact was about  40mph so I went from 0-40 in 10 yards which was the distance from where I was stationary. Insurance are supplying a hire bike so hopefully it will all be sorted quick.
