Gtr headlight wiring

Afternoon all.

 

I’ve ordered a new headlight unit, and decided today to test my new bulbs in the old one before it turns up to make sure I know what I’m doing.

I do not.

High beam works, the pathetic dull running light works, but my dip beam won’t turn on at all.

Does anyone have any pictures of the wiring for a gt125r headlight unit as it should be? Preferably with an explanation of which wire is what etc?

There’s only 3 wires 1 bw is earth 1 high 1 low they run to the switch, get a multimeter on them follow the duff one

Also  the “parking mini” light that’s inside the headlight shell , the wires are usually thinner , and the harness powers them directly.   Wire colour is usually either:
Orange
White

or

Orange
Black/White

or

Orange
Grey
