Hello! I’ve been experiencing today something I’ve never heard about.
Front break pads are at the end of their use but still in good condition. I’ve been riding today in the city (something I’ve never done before because I live in a town) and I’ve noticed that the bike was loosing power and breaking constantly and continuously, to the point of that I had to pull over. When I tried to push the bike forward and back the wheel didn’t want to move so I had to sit down and wait for the front disk to cool down. Someone here had the same issue?

Sounds like you need to have a good clean up & check of the caliper most likely stuck pistons & the carriage is probably stuck as well.

Also adding to Simon’s good reply.
If the pads are half way done, the pistons don’t really like to stick out too much (more dirt wants to rust it up etc…) so defo cleaning & inspection is in order.
If need be, flush and re-bleed brakes with fresh DOT4 , brake fluid is usually good for 2-4yrs max. (no matter the miles.), Time is its enemy
