🔧 Install Tips

Clean the Box: Before installing the new filter, use a damp cloth to wipe out any dirt, grit, or oil residue from inside the airbox.
Seating: Ensure the rubber gasket of the filter is seated perfectly in the airbox groove. Any gaps will allow unfiltered “dirty” air to bypass the filter.
Service Interval: We recommend replacement every 8,000 to 12,000 miles—sooner if you ride in urban, dusty, or high-pollution environments.
Dry Filter: This is a dry paper-element filter. Do not apply air filter oil or tacky sprays to the surface.
