The idle speed control is controlled by engine temperature & intake temperature, check these sensors the engine one can cause issues.
Clean all the connections you can find, there is one if I remember rightly in the loom on the left hand side looking from the back forwards it’s hidden by the air box this takes the signal from the coil it can cause the issue as the ECU miss reads the rpm. Hyosungs really have bad connection issues.
You have added something to the mix there is every chance that the fuel pump seals have been damaged due to the moisture.
sorry forgot to say make sure the plug caps are on properly you will be surprised how often they are not.
Check for any vacuum leaks also clean & check all the sensor connections
Hf131 same as Suzuki gs125
The first thing is the charging, it sounds like the regulator/rectifier has gone. If the voltage is to low the ecu will not load properly & basically trys to set a base line to allow the bike to run, first check the stator with a multimeter you will find a plug with 3 yellow wires set the multimeter to resistance hold it on one terminal & touch the others in sequence so 1-2-3, 2-1-3 they should all read something like 0.1, 0, 0.1 if any of the readings are above 0.2 or infinity then a phase has burnt out, you don’t at this stage need to measure the ac output as in my experience if the resistance is right then 99.999% of the time the output will be fine, next set the multimeter to dc start the bike & measure across the battery the voltage should even at tickover be above 13.6v increase the revs it should ideally read 14.3-14.4 v if all good if it doesn’t then the reg has gone, carry this out first & report back.
If its the hose to the rear of the tank its the overflow and just goes down out of the way
Aug 9, 2022 at 4:24 PM in reply to: Gv125 valve clearance does it tend to shrink or grow with wear? #8307Going to extreme the valves can erode but in all honesty your clearance is fine, the most important thing to keep valve clearance good is regular oil & filter changed mine have not moved at all in 10000 miles.
Right the fuel pump is in the tank no vac, if the are 2 connectors on the pump (blue thing) one is feed, one return the feed one connects to the speed release which is mounted on the right hand side of the engine, the small hose connector at the rear of the tank is the overflow just goes down & out the back. If the fuel pump only has one outlet then this connects to the injector pipes. If 2 connectors on pump look for arrows this indicates in & out
The blue thing under the tank is an electric pump no vacuum because high pressure fuel injection, there will be a power supply connection for it, the brown hoses connect to the throttle bodies then to the air box they supply the metered air via the isc valve on the air box to control the idle speed.
From what I can see you are missing the hoses from the injectors these go to a splitter which the hose from the tank pump fits to, the light brown coloured hoses which have springs on them connect to the ics which is the thing one the side of the airbox with 2 inlets side by side
I’m sure the calipers are used on all models.
Definitely fuel problems, the carbs really need stripping & ultrasonic cleaning.
It is most likely that the euro 4/5 fueling what ever one hyosung are using on the bike, they run lean so in extreme heat sometimes you get the issues, you can change the way it fuels with a little bit of messing around with the emmision controls but I’m sorry I don’t know how the gd is set up, so I can’t really help.
😹got to admit that the dukes are big big fun.
I hold my head in shame, the carb 650 fairings will fit the carb 250 bikes, if its efi then they need to be from the efi variants.
Nice pictures, I can’t believe you, me & you could be brothers in a former life, I got a ktm 390 as well, what are the odds on that?
Tbh most of the 250 will fit but the 650 has a different frame that’s way wider so I somehow doubt it will.
400ml + – 2.5ml standard weight is 5w.
