Glad you found the issue!
Congrats David!👏👏
Good Lord! Glad it wasn’t worse, and I hope it all works out well, and they make it very right for you.
If you need more torque, than a 650 would certainly provide that. Hard to beat an SV 650 Suzuki then…………………………

If the GT250N is working well for you, stick with it!
Acerbis X-Factor offer great protection and adjustability. Or if all you want is wind deflection only, there is much simpler/ cheaper cheapo stuff online.(Amazon)

You have your hands full Shaun! Good luck getting it sorted out.

Well Marcel, I am very content on my bike combo! I live in a unique area where anything over 60mph is a lot! Roads are very tight and twisty here, and we have many miles of amazing forest to explore. The GT 250 feels like a big grunty superbike on the road (🤔) and the KLX is my tractor for exploring waterfalls and rocky/hilly goat paths.
It has been too long since I have had the GT out, (holidays, weather, visiting family) so it felt great to twist the throttle on the v-twin today. I love the powerband , and the sound out of the carbon muffler is terrific. The only pics today are of my new KLX 230.
Another pretty day out!Sounds like you are doing the correct things. What about sacked clutch springs?
Marcel, I had posted above that 2 turns anti-clockwise on the headlight adjustment was spot on. So all good there!

255 miles of mountains and twisties today, gotta love a vacation day! Stunning scenery, weather, and roads. Did I mention 71.27 mpg?!

Headlight adjustment was spot on.👍👍 ( and my pictures are cut off the bottom again, I’ll reload from work computer tmrw) -
