I went with these Taiwanese made shims. I won’t check valves for a couple more weeks though.Oct 23, 2022 at 2:18 PM in reply to: Hyosung Owners Picture Gallery: Show Off Your Bike Photos & Mods 📸 #8917Thank you hyo71 for that fantastic info! It seems to me you are having a blast in that series! I will check out your links further. Good luck, have fun, kick ass, and stay safe.
Oct 21, 2022 at 12:24 PM in reply to: Hyosung Owners Picture Gallery: Show Off Your Bike Photos & Mods 📸 #8911A Hyo road race series? I had no idea! I’d like to hear more about that.
I found the headlight adjustment. It is on the back right side of headlight shell, tucked in there a ways. I gave it 2 turns anti-clockwise with a Phillips screwdriver, we shall see how much it moved it up. And I figured out why my speedo light defaulted to 100% brightness. I did not realize you had to start the bike after adjusting gauge brightness. The best way to slow down a slow 125 is put more weight on the front wheel!
Please take pictures of the cluster while it is apart!
Welcome and good luck getting it sorted.
Media is back! Good job Marcel.👏👏 And so is editing!
From the other night. The blue visual tab is there, but does not allow me to add media. I do not see “add media” anywhere.
I click on the “visual” but it won’t allow adding any pictures. It does nothing. Then on my posts, there is no “edit” visible. So no opportunity to edit. I went to that test link you posted and it wouldn’t allow me to do anything. All this on my phone and/or my work computer. Never had an issue before.
First time I rode this bike in full darkness and I realized that the headlight was pointed downward about 10 meters in front of me. That and the blinding speedo light made for a bit of a spooky ride! I already played with the speedo brightness, but for some reason it went full bright again. I haven’t had a chance to figure out headlight adjustment on the Naked yet. I sure am infatuated with the sweet power spread of 4000 to 8500. ( in 250cc terms)
Welcome Jose’!
What John said. A long punch and a hammer. Smooth and steady!
Nights and early mornings are starting to get cool(60F), but afternoons have been pretty warm (80F). I am a bit in the mountains and leaves have started changing, leaves are starting to drop.
I thank you again Simon. That is very odd no oil pressure light.😳 Good to know those are LED’s.👍👍
Very frustrating that I added a full proper picture and only half of it loads up!
700 miles on the clock and a fresh oil/filter change. This bike is pretty fun to ride. Lots of character and an interesting power band.Sep 20, 2022 at 1:20 AM in reply to: [How to Tutorial] How to Change Oil & Oil Filter on Hyosung GV125 GV250 GT GT250R GT125R #8655Thanks for this write up. Nice touch with the included torque specs and oil quantity.
JMP shims look rare over here. Besides OEM, PRO X seems to be slightly preferred over the Hot Cams. Still gathering info. Thanks Marcel.
