• Warm it up: Ride gently for 5–10 minutes before draining. Warm oil flows much faster and carries away far more suspended engine contaminants.
• Check your O-Ring: Never reuse a flattened or crushed old sealing ring. Always inspect for small nicks or tears to prevent annoying driveway oil puddles.
• Don’t over-torque: The engine casing sump threads are very soft aluminum. Tighten the hardware until snug, but don’t force it—save your thread tracks from stripping!
