Description
When your Hyosung starts struggling with intermittent charging, dim lights, or a mysteriously flat battery, the stock stator is usually the culprit. The original black OEM stators from Hyosung Korea are prone to running hot and are no longer produced (discontinued forever).
This quality aftermarket upgrade is designed to be a reliable, direct replacement, offering a modest improvement in electrical output and thermal management compared to the aging stock unit.
💎 No magic, just reliability!
Unlike the generic listings on marketplaces, this is a verified, uprated component. We provide a solution designed for durability, not a cheap “magic fix.”
| Uprated Wiring Better materials for stable current. |
Runs Cooler Improved design reduces harmful heat. |
| Gasket Included Seal the job right the first time. (FREE GASKET IS FOR GT & GV Models only!) |
Stable Voltage Protects your rectifier/regulator and battery. |

🚫 Incompatible Models & Transitory Years:
- 2008-2010 Transitory Period: Many GT250 & GV250 models moved to EFi (Electronic Fuel Injection). This stator is NOT compatible with EFi models.
PLEASE make sure yours is a “carb” model if your dealer registered the last batch in 2008-2010
Yes , we even sold on to a rider in New Zealand who has a 2010 GT250 running on carbs! - GT125 RC (2010 – 2018): These models use a different flywheel/18-pole stator setup. You need this specific kit instead.
- GV125 Aquila (2016 – 2018): These later EFi models have a changed flywheel design. Please email us first to confirm fitment options.
🔧 Installation Advice & Expert Tips
Replacing the stator coil is a straightforward maintenance task. To ensure the longest life for your new component, follow these specialist tips:
- Critical Check: Always inspect your Rectifier/Regulator. A faulty regulator often kills a new stator very quickly. Test the output *after* installation.
- Oil Change Recommended: You will drain the engine oil to access the magneto cover. We highly recommend replacing your oil filter and using fresh oil during the process.
- Gasket Seal: Use the included high-quality gasket and torque the cover bolts evenly to specification
(FREE GASKET IS FOR GTR MODELS ONLY!).

This is an absolute must have for your Hyosung! Had it for around one year now, and it works great.
Easy to install (P&P) and it delivers on it’s promises!

Just upgraded to these coils, the uprated regulator, the uprated stator and ngk caps with iridium spark plugs. I have to say it made an amazing difference, the bike almost no longer needs choke (less than a minute and only on first start in the morning), acceleration has improved significantly and my bike is now charging (which was my original problem :p). Very happy with all items 🙂
