📑 Stainless Pins vs Original Factory Pins :

It is common knowledge that the factory pins sometimes seize up due to weather attacks. Factory pins are mild steel which will eventually rot hence, Stainless steel is exactly what it says.
The “HEX” slot , can sometimes be rounded off as they are softer. A higher grade replacement allows you to tighten the caliper safely without the fear of rounding it off easily.
Stainless steel has a better surface layer on it since its weather resistant and this also means , your pads will slide more easily across the caliper when applying brakes (in other words SS = Smoother sliding of pads)
