💡 MAINTENANCE TIP: This may sound overkill but we recommend changing this filter and your oil every 1,500–2,500 miles. 125cc engines work harder than a 1000cc; fresh oil and a clean filter are the best ways to prevent performance loss. Hyosung says use premium oil too (we recommend Motul 7100) and Hyosung says more servicing is better for bikes under heavy usage.

🔧 Install Tips

The Rubber Seal: Before fitting, dip your finger in clean engine oil and wipe it around the black rubber O-ring on the filter. This creates a better seal and makes it easier to remove next time!
Hand Tight Only: You don’t need a wrench to tighten these. A firm “hand-tight” turn is perfect—overtightening can damage the engine threads.
