🔧 Tips for Replacement & Maintenance:

When replacing the fuel cap, inspect the tank seal for wear or rust. A tight seal prevents fuel evaporation and leaks.
Check the ignition barrel wiring plug. Apply a light spray of ACF-50 or WD-40 Specialist Electrical Contact Cleaner to prevent corrosion – this is particularly useful for bikes stored outdoors.
Always ensure the barrel clicks securely in place and that the steering lock engages properly after installation.
If your old fuel cap was sticking, a quick wipe with silicone spray or light oil around the hinge area will keep it moving freely.
