Description
Upgrade from rusty stock clamps to these fully stainless steel replacements that won’t corrode or weaken over time. Featuring easy-to-use bolts compatible with a mini-socket or screwdriver, these clamps ensure a tight seal — because carburettors hate air leaks!
Direct replacement for original worn intake clamps (Part# 09402-44207), these are a “plug & play” maintenance item that adds a subtle bit of stainless bling under the tank while significantly improving reliability.
💎 Permanent Corrosion Solution
Standard clamps often snap or round off when you try to remove them after a few winters. Stainless steel solves this problem forever.
| Durable Stainless Long-lasting corrosion resistance. |
High Torque Stronger band for a tighter intake seal. |
| Vented Slots Reduces stress on the rubber manifold. |
Universal Drive Use a screwdriver or socket. |

🔧 Installation Advice
No special tools are needed for this swap, but here is how to get the best seal:
- **Inspect the Boot:** While the clamps are off, check your rubber [Intake Manifold Boots] for cracks. If the rubber is perished, even new clamps won’t stop the leak.
- **Don’t Overtighten:** Stainless clamps are very strong. You want them tight enough to prevent the boot from moving, but don’t crush the rubber until it splits.
- **Seating:** Ensure the clamp sits in the designated “groove” on the manifold boot to distribute pressure evenly.

Bought these along with the o rings when I had the carb’s off, you probably wouldn’t be bothered changing from the stock one’s after all there only clamp’s …. wrong.
These are much higher quality and you can tighten them up very easily and know you have a good seal between manifold and carb also much easier to position away from the throttle linkage.
