GV650 Aquila / Avitar (Carb & EFI): 2005 to 2019
ST7 Cruiser / GV700i: 2010 to 2018

❌ EXCLUSIONS:

GV125S & GV300S Aquila: Will not fit. These modern generation smaller cruisers require vastly different total cable lengths and lower engine mounting ends.
GT Naked & R Sport Bike Models: Incompatible due to the alternate control routing layouts required for sports style controls.

🔧 Install Tips

Routing verification: Note down the exact path of your old wire through the frame before pulling it free. Avoid wrapping it tightly around the radiator mounts or hot cylinder heads to stop the outer sleeve melting on your first test run.
Free play adjustment: Always leave roughly 2mm to 3mm of loose free play at the handlebar lever perch. If you tension the line too tightly down by the engine casing arm, the clutch plates will slip constantly and wear out prematurely.
Pivot check: Take an extra minute to clean out the lever pivot bolt hole and smear a dab of grease inside before securing the barrel end to eliminate heavy friction points.
