⛽ VACUUM FUEL PUMP // PREVENT HIGH-SPEED ENGINE STALLING

Banish top-end fuel starvation and sluggish throttle pickup on your V-Twin. This premium vacuum-operated fuel pump acts as your mechanical insurance against deteriorated internal components, ensuring you don’t get left stuck in the garage tracking down persistent bogging issues. Engineered to withstand modern UK pump E5 fuels, it restores a smooth delivery curve across all carburettor models without resorting to questionable internet bodge fixes.

  • OEM-Spec Replica // Built to match the original Mikuni performance.
  • Vacuum Operated // The correct mechanism for all carb models (GT, GV, TE450).
  • Plug & Play Hoses // Direct swap for existing fuel lines (no modification needed).
  • 📦 What’s Included // 1x Vacuum Fuel Pump (unit only).
CRITICAL COMPATIBILITY: This vacuum assembly is strictly for carburettor-equipped models. It will not function on electronic fuel injection (EFI) engines which use high-pressure internal tank pumps.

Description

A strong, stable fuel delivery circuit is vital for overall throttle performance on a V-Twin Hyosung. The original factory Mikuni vacuum pumps are aging significantly, and microscopic internal diaphragm split failures lead directly to severe fuel starvation under heavy loads. This premium replacement unit ensures consistent, reliable delivery pressures across your rev range. This allows your engine to receive the exact amount of fuel it demands, whether you are filtering through city traffic or touring on long motorway hauls.

💎 Built for Fuel Longevity

We focus heavily on material specification tolerances. The internal pumping diaphragms are built using modern, ethanol-resistant compounds to withstand standard forecourt fuels safely.

Consistent Flow Rate
Cures structural high-RPM starvation by maintaining constant float bowl supply levels.
Durable Housing
Robust cast assembly built to resist continuous chassis vibration and heat cycling.
OEM Reference
Accurately matches the exact physical footprint of the 15100HG5100 factory layout.
Easy Swap
Spigot ports align correctly with your standard factory supply and vacuum lines.

📜 Confirmed Fitment Guide

✅ FITS: All carburettor-fed Hyosung 125cc, 250cc, and 650cc models (including GT Comet, GT125R, GT250R, GT650R, GV125/GV250 Aquila, and the TE450 Quad).
📅 YEARS: Generally covers 2001 through to 2009 production runs (alongside individual 125cc models running up to 2017).

❌ WILL NOT FIT: Any newer Fuel-Injected (EFI) models. Electronic fuel injection models use a completely different internal electric fuel pump housed within the petrol tank.

💡 RECOMMENDED PAIRING:
Another common fuel delivery fault point is a sluggish internal petcock diaphragm. If your supply valve is restricted, a fresh pump won’t solve the issue. Head over to pick up a matching replacement valve. View the Vacuum Tap replacement here.

🔧 Install Tips

  • Check Vacuum Lines: A brand new pump cannot build pressure if the pulse line originating from the engine intake tract is cracked. Carefully inspect your rubber hoses for tiny dry-rot perishing splits.
  • Fuel Choice Advice: It is highly recommended to stick to premium E5 grade fuel on carburettor setups wherever possible. Higher ethanol percentages found in E10 can speed up perishing across lines and soft internal components over storage periods.
