Description
This vacuum-operated fuel pump is a high-quality aftermarket replacement for the now-discontinued OEM Mikuni Japan pump. It is designed for all carburetted (carb/carby) Hyosung models, including 125cc, 250cc, 650cc V-Twins, and the TE450 quad.
⚠ Important Diagnostic Tip:
Before ordering, ensure your vacuum tap (fuel petcock) is functioning correctly. A faulty or slow vacuum tap can cause fueling issues even if the pump is fine.

Check your intake pipes: Air leaks often come from worn or old O-rings.

⛽ Why You Should Use E5 (NOT E10) Fuel in the UK

E10 contains more ethanol, which damages rubber parts later down the road like fuel lines, O-rings, and carb components.

GOV UK officially advises carburetted motorcycle owners to stick with E5, as it offers better longevity and fewer maintenance issues.

Your Hyosung will last longer with fewer rubber part replacements when using E5.
