• ✅ Torque the nut to factory specification—usually around 80–100 Nm (check your manual).
• 🧼 Clean the sprocket shaft threads before installation to avoid false torque readings.
• 🔒 Always use a new locking washer to prevent the nut from backing out during riding.
• 💡 Use a dab of threadlocker (medium strength) if you’re not using a lock washer—but the washer is still preferred!
• ❌ Never reuse old or damaged nuts, especially if threads are worn or stripped.
