Description
For a performance bike like the GD250R or GD250N Exiv, the front sprocket nut is the only thing keeping your engine’s power connected to your rear wheel. Over time, these nuts can suffer from vibration or improper torquing. Replacing a tired or rounded nut is essential for maintaining the integrity of your output shaft threads and ensuring your life on the road remains uninterrupted by mechanical failure.

Hyosung strongly advises using a new locking washer whenever the nut is replaced. View the GD250 Safety Locking Washer here.
🔧 Install Tips & Safety
- Torque to Spec: Use a torque wrench to ensure the nut is seated correctly on the output shaft.
- Lock it Down: After torquing, bend the edge of the new locking washer over the flat of the nut to prevent it from spinning loose.
- Thread Locker: For added peace of mind, apply a drop of medium-strength thread locker to the shaft threads before installation.
