Description
The front sprocket nut is an easy part to forget about, but it is a critical fastener for keeping the final drive on your GV300S safe. Whenever you swap out a worn chain and sprocket set, using fresh matching hardware is the best way to keep everything tight. This factory-spec nut is built to handle the high tightening force needed for your 300cc motor, making it a smart way to stop the main drive gears from working loose on everyday roads.

🔧 Install Tips
- Use a Torque Wrench: Check your factory workshop book for the correct torque numbers. This nut holds a key drive part and needs to be tightened heavily with a proper torque wrench to stop it backing off.
- Clean the Splines: Meticulously wipe down the engine shaft threads and splines to clear out old grit and chain grease before you spin the new nut home. This ensures your tightness readings are completely accurate.
- Fold the Washer Tab: Once the new nut is fully tightened down, use a blunt chisel or pliers to bend the edge of your new locking washer flat against one of the straight sides of the nut.
