Engine CamShaft Timing Cam Chain Hyosung GT125 GT125R GV125

Replacement Timing Chain for the Carby Models of the GV125 | GT125R/RC | GT125 Naked models.  The Timing Chain is also called “Timing Belt” or “Cam Belt”.   Usually you will replace the cam chain when either of the following applies:

• Engine Rebuilds / Project Repairs
• Old Engine is getting an overhaul
• Old Chain has lot of mileage and has worn down

A fresh cam chain will prolong the life of an older high mileage engine and it will keep your timings accurate as your valves go up & down while the crank or clutch basket spins the chain.   Yes, it fits front or rear engine.    Usually it is good to replace both at the same time for even wear on both cylinders.

 🔧 Make sure you use a service manual or have a professional install this for you, as any mistakes can ruin your engine for good (like snapped/damaged teeth on your crank shaft, and a new crank is expensive) 😬
