ℹPlease keep in mind:
One of the most common reasons a stator breaks down is due to a broken regulator, which burns the stator in no time or vise versa since they are like a married pair (till death do them part?). Therefore, it’s highly recommend to switch both parts. The OEM regulator is quite notorious for failing early in its life, it is an outsourced part, so Hyosung doesn’t actually make the regulators or stators! . If you need help testing your stator or regulator, go and post a topic in the forums, one of the members will assist you, or download the 650 manuals in the forum too.

A good quality Plug & Play magneto stator that replaces the OEM stator in the Hyosung GT650, GV650 models from 2006 to 2013. This is for both carby and EFi models.
Built on a modern stator alternator core & installed with the highest grade copper wire. The high magnetic conductivity of the stator material coupled with the high quality winding wire make for an exceptionally efficient stator that runs cooler than OEM and provides better generator output especially at lower RPMs.

ℹ Battery Checks & Stator Install Tips

⚠ By the way, Battery condition is extremely important.
No stator can work correctly with a bad or weak battery. Always fully charge your battery before performing any charging system tests or replacing parts. If there is any doubt, have the battery load tested or replaced. Go to a mechanic or Halfords to get your battery “LOAD TEST” (they use special meters, not the basic multi meters you keep at home, that won’t work!)

🚦 Before installing your new magneto stator
Consider having a regulator (If you use an old faulty one, it WILL kill the new stator!) This is why we will supply you one included with the stator kit. A real shingden one.
Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier
Check and repair any melted wiring.
Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors or ACF50
DO NOT USE WD40 on wires or get ready to go up in flames.
