The oil filter is designed to protect your engine by trapping flying debris / metal shavings from the oil. A clogged filter can quickly prevent your engine form being properly lubricated. That’s why it matters to change it at every oil change. For the big hyosung vtwins, the kit also includes fresh o-rings making the oil servicing a more complete task!
