🔧 Install Tips

Orbit Warning: These clips are spring-loaded! Use needle-nose pliers and take your time. They can easily fly across the room if they slip during installation.
Block the Crankcase: Always stuff a clean rag into the crankcase opening around the connecting rod before fitting these. If a clip drops, it won’t fall into the bottom of the engine!
Check the Click: Ensure the clip is fully seated in the piston groove before moving to the next step of your rebuild.
