The charging system in 2016–2020 Hyosung models relies on a healthy regulator. When the factory ‘Shunt’ regulator fails, it sends unstable voltage that can fry your expensive Delphi ECU. This MOSFET Regulator Upgrade is engineered to provide stable, clean power and break that failure cycle.

You are investing in insurance for your bike’s electronics. We use Shingden Japan hardware which runs cool and protects your bike’s brain.

⚠️ IMPORTANT FITMENT CHECK: “THE BIG PLUGS”

Hyosung changed the connectors significantly during the 2016 model year. This kit is ONLY for models with the large-format “Big Plugs” (pictured below👇).

☝️ Your bike’s harness MUST have these FEMALE connectors to accept our kit!
If you cannot see them please contact us first, we may also help you with fresh connectors for the FEMALE side.
Sometimes you could be a new owner and not realize the previous owner has cut the plugs and put the wrong ones (for whatever reason!).

🛠 Installation & Battery Health Advice (Avoid Stator Burn)

A new regulator is a great start, but system health is non-negotiable:

• 🔋 Battery Condition: A weak battery will instantly stress any new regulator/stator system. Get a PROPER LOAD TEST at [Halfords UK] or a local mechanic. A basic multimeter cannot measure a battery’s health under load.
• Check Your Stator Health: If your old regulator failed, it likely damaged your stator. Test your stator before fitting this new regulator!
• Clean Connections: Use [ACF-50] or high-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.
• 🔥 NEVER use WD-40: WD-40 is flammable on electrical wires. Using it risks a harness fire.
