• Seal Integrity: When unbolting and sliding out the base pump core, be extremely careful not to pinch, stretch, or tear the main rubber tank sealing O-ring. A damaged seal can allow dangerous petrol leaks under a full tank.
• System Prime: Once plumbing assembly is secure, cycle the ignition key (On/Off) 3 to 4 times consecutively without firing the starter motor. This action lets the electronic control unit cycle the new pump to safely bleed trapped air and prime the high-pressure lines.
