💎 CYLINDER HEAD METAL GASKET // REBUILD THE 250CC

Stop compression loss and cure oil weeping right where the head meets the main block. Flimsy seals degrade under extreme firing pressure, making a top-end refresh the absolute safest path to lock in power during your next maintenance project.

  • Aftermarket Build // Precision-stamped multi-layer metal sheet constructed to manage the immense heat cycles of your 250cc motor.
  • 250cc Fitment // Sold as a single 1x piece that works perfectly on either the front or rear engine cylinder of the V-twin block.
  • V-Twin Demands // If you are overhauling both barrels simultaneously, make sure to adjust your checkout quantity to 2x pieces.
  • In Stock // Ready for your next oil change. Grab a tough metallic compression seal to button your motor rebuild together squarely. Ships from our UK base!

Description

When your 250cc bike starts losing its pull, puffing smoke, or sweating engine oil right where the head meets the main block, the head seal is usually done. Unlike cheap paper parts or liquid sealant which can easily squeeze out and block your oil passages, this premium aftermarket metal gasket is built to sit directly between the piston jug and the valves head. It handles the high firing pressure and deep heat soak of the oil-cooled V-Twin motor without splitting. This component is a mandatory replacement whenever you are stripping down the top end to clean carbon off your pistons, helping to maintain a tight seal during touring, daily riding, or long road trips across your latest restoration project.

💎 CYLINDER HEAD METAL ENGINE GASKET SPECIFICATIONS

High Pressure Firing SealKeeps the main combustion opening completely airtight to preserve compression limits and power. Multi-Layer Metal BuildResists deep operational heat soak across both combustion chambers over high-mileage runs.
Exact 250cc Bore StampingFormed accurately to seat flat over larger valve layouts and wider quarter-litre piston throat diameters. OEM ReferencesEngineered as a direct aftermarket swap built to replace original factory part number: 11141HJ8210.

📜 Confirmed Fitment Guide

Hyosung Models: Fits the following models below only. Check the parts diagram photo to see exactly where this part sits on your top end.

  • GV250 Aquila Cruiser: Carburettor and EFi models built from 2003 to 2018.
  • GT250 Naked Comet: All model variations built from 2004 to 2020.
  • GT250R / GT250RC Sports: All model variations built from 2005 to 2020.

❌ CRITICAL MODEL EXCLUSIONS:

  • All 125cc Engines: This part will strictly NOT fit any 125cc models. The internal opening is far too large for their smaller piston jugs, and 250cc engines use totally different valve dimensions.
  • All 650cc Models: Completely incompatible with larger engine platforms.
  • GV125S EFi Bobber: Completely different water-jacket system.
💡 RECOMMENDED TOP-END PAIRING: Since you have to lift the valve assembly off to swap this steel seal, it is smart to change your guide seals now to stop oil smoke. Looking for the soft paper element that sits lower down between the piston jug and the main crank area? That base item is compatible across both 125cc and 250cc twins. View Valve Stem Seals here.

🔧 Install Tips

  • Meticulous Surface Prep: Scrape away every trace of old structural material or carbon deposits using a plastic scraper. The metal mating surfaces must be totally dry and surgically clean before setting down the replacement.
  • Install Completely Dry: Do not add silicone sealants, copper adhesive sprays, or RTV grease compound over these metal layers. It must be installed entirely dry to align with strict factory engineering rules.
  • Star Torque Pattern Sequence: Use a calibrated manual torque wrench to tighten your casing nuts down evenly following an alternating cross pattern. Failing to stagger the load will warp or distort the aluminum casting housing.
