The Hyosung v-twin dual-carb setup has the mixture adjusters positioned deep inside a vertical channel. While this keeps them out of the way, it also creates a “sump” for salty road water and grit to settle in. Once that brass screw seizes, it is a frustrating and risky process to extract. This genuine-type rubber plug is your first line of defence, sealing that channel and ensuring your carb remains adjustable for years to come.
