The factory machines are prefitted with the right size pilot jets based on their engine capacity & model. The 125 vTwins always had Size-15 Pilot Jets, while the 250cc vTwins make the jump to Size-20 Pilots.

Because the 125cc bikes have smaller holes , it is even more crucial for the carburettors to undergo a thorough cleaning process, which will eliminate so many issues such as Poor Idle , Poor transition from Pilots (Slow run) to Mains as you ride, starting related issues. The 250cc isn’t out of the woods either, clogged carbs make for a boggy ride.

As a result your bike can be temperamental at times , like it has a mood!
