Description
Factory-installed KBC wheel bearings often wear out prematurely, leading to a loose or wobbly handling feel, strange clicking noises, and unsafe riding conditions. When upgrading your Hyosung chassis, the quality of your internal moving components matters most. This high-grade package uses authentic KOYO Japan or premium SKF hardware—globally trusted brands engineered for high performance and total road safety, rather than basic budget maintenance. Upgrade the set once to keep your cruiser rolling stable for many more miles.

📜 Confirmed Fitment Guide
Confirmed Wheel Matches: Fits the following models running standard factory silver cast alloy wheels (2005 to 2017):
- Hyosung GV125 Aquila: Fits air/oil-cooled cruiser frames built with standard cast wheels.
- Hyosung GV250 Aquila: Fits carburettor or fuel injection models built with standard cast wheels.

- Spoke Wheel Cruisers: Early wire-spoke hubs built before 2005 use separate inner hub sizing.
- Modern S-Platform Bobbers: Does NOT fit modern liquid-cooled GV125S EFI, GV250DR, or GV300S variations running rear disc brake configurations.
While your rear wheel assembly is removed from the swingarm to fit this kit, take a quick minute to look over your stopping links. We highly advise checking your mechanical Rear Brake Cable Line for deep wire rust or heavy stiffness. Swapping out a dragging cable helps you calibrate your rear shoes perfectly!
🔧 Install Tips
- Use a Balanced Press Setup: For the straightest and safest results, seat the new components into the hub using a mechanical press tool. This evenly glides the casing home without marring the internal rolling tracks.
- Avoid Direct Hammer Blows: Never hit the face or internal ring of your new bearings with a standard metal hammer. If you are doing this upgrade without a workshop press, use a soft face mallet alongside a bearing driver puck that presses purely on the firm *outer* steel rim track.
- Clean the Dust Caps: Clean out all trapped road grime and salt from your external rubber dust shields (Factory part matching 09285-33001). Pack them with fresh grease before sliding the wheel axle shafts home to seal out oncoming moisture.
