Description
After many years of hard road use and constant vacuum cycles, old worn fuel slide coils should always be renewed during an internal repair or full workbench servicing. This genuine original equipment Hyosung slide spring is a critical balance component designed to sit directly inside your upper diaphragm caps. The slow maintenance reality is that running uneven, twisted, or distorted return hardware causes all kinds of weird engine bugs, including sticky vacuum sliders, unexpected rev surging, or a heavy flat spot when you snap the twist grip. Swapping a fatigued piece out ensures that the air-petrol mixture is regulated perfectly, allowing your V-twin motor to perform at its absolute best across your latest restoration project.
Because our bikes run a dual configuration, having matching tension thresholds between both mixers is incredibly important. If one coil has shrunken over time, its slider will lift too early, causing one cylinder to run rich while the other starves. This unbranded aftermarket replacement matches original factory dimensions cleanly to stop irregular vacuum play. This component is sold as a single individual piece, making it a targeted, cost-effective fix to replace a damaged or kinked coil during your next fuel system maintenance task.

🔧 Install Tips
- Check Your Diaphragm Seating First: When dropping the fresh coil over the slider center post, take your time to verify that the outer rubber seal ring of the diaphragm is seated completely flat and flush inside its groove. If the rubber border is pinched, an air leak will form immediately.
- Clean Out the Upper Cap Passages: Use a clean cloth along with a mild solvent spray to thoroughly clean out any old dark fuel gumming or sticky varnish from the internal cap openings before reassembly. Trapping any grit inside will jam the slide movement.
- Tighten Your Screws Alternately: When fastening the top cap screws back onto the alloy body casting, wind them down gradually in an alternating sequence. This distributes tension evenly across the spring backing plate to prevent distortion.
