Description
This small rubber ring sits right behind your bottom oil filter mesh plug cover—if it becomes flattened, cracked, or completely split, your GV125S engine can slowly but surely start dropping oil right down onto your frame rails. Over long miles of heavy road use, intense motor block temperatures and pure age flatten out the round rubber, making this an essential maintenance layout swap item. Replacing your flattened part with this fresh Hyosung GV125S oil cap seal is cheap insurance for your engine block. It ensures an absolute fluid-tight fitment that keeps everything completely dry, tidy, and clean underneath your engine casing on local roads.

📜 Confirmed Fitment Guide (From 2019+ Onwards)
Fuel Injected Bobber Group: Inner circle diameter is pre-measured strictly for the modern liquid-cooled 125cc injection motor lines noted below. See the diagram picture for lower block placement spots.
- Hyosung GV125S Aquila Bobber EFi: Fits all standard injection models built from 2019 to present date.
This package includes one (1) brand-new rubber Oil Strainer Cap O-Ring. We suggest swapping this piece every second or third fluid flush to keep things safe.
🔧 Install Tips
- Wipe the Grooves Spotless: Use a clean lint-free shop cloth to completely wipe out the matching seat channel inside your metal cap and the aluminum engine casing faces before you mount your new part. Any trapped road grit will instantly cause a slow weep.
- Lubricate the Material: Smear a very thin film of fresh motorcycle engine oil directly around your new rubber seal before threading it back in. This stops the material from twisting, dragging, or tearing out of line as you torque the cover down tight.
- Go Easy with Your Tools: Spin the cap all the way home using your fingertips first to ensure it isn’t cross-threaded. Use a hand spanner or socket tool to apply a very light snug nip. Do NOT swing hard on it or overtighten, or you will instantly strip out the soft aluminum engine threads.
- Execute a Fast Run Check: Once everything is buttoned down and your fluid levels are topped back up, start your bike and let it idle on the stand for a minute or two. Keep a close look underneath the engine casing to confirm there are zero weeping spots or active wet marks before you ride out.
