📜 Model Fitment
Confirmed Matches: Fits the following fuel-injected modern bobber variants:
- Hyosung GV300 & GV300S Bobber: Fits all Aquila 300 S configurations from 2019 onwards (including SS, Supreme, and European boutique market alternatives).
Any GV125, GV125S, or old-generation GV250 models. Lighter engine chassis run completely different rear brake calipers.
Don’t forget the front brakes! We highly recommend pairing these rear replacements with fresh Front Brake Pads for the GV300S to guarantee completely balanced stopping power lock-to-lock.
🔧 Install Tips
- Clean the Caliper: Clean the caliper thoroughly with specialized spray to remove thick road dust and debris before sliding the fresh material home. Spread a tiny, thin layer of high-temperature grease behind the back plates to prevent squealing.
- Check Disc Condition: Inspect your rear steel brake disc rotor carefully for deep groove lips, scoring, or thermal warping. Fitting smooth pads onto a warped disc limits stopping area performance.
- Torque to Specification: Clean the pin sliders and use a manual wrench to tighten all caliper mounting bolts down to factory manual specs. Remember to pump your foot pedal a few times after installation to restore solid hydraulic system pressure before riding!
