📜 Confirmed Fitment Guide
Modern Liquid-Cooled 125cc Group: Fits the newer fuel-injected generation of bikes listed below.
- Hyosung GV125-S Bobber EFi: Fits all models from 2019 to present.
- Hyosung GV125-S EVO: Fits all upside-down fork sport cruiser models from 2023 onwards.
- Hyosung GV125R Sport naked: Fits all modern street sport versions from 2023 onwards.
- Hyosung GV125X Scrambler: Fits all rugged modern models from 2025 onwards.
- Older Carburettor Models: This will not work on classic air-cooled GT125, GT125R, or GV125C Aquila cruiser models. They use a completely separate electrical spark system.
🔧 Install Tips
- Check for Water: Look closely for dampness or green rust around your old coil and plug cap area. Rainwater can cause short circuits fast. Using a quality water protection spray like ACF50 helps keep the damp out if you ride in bad weather.
- Laser Plugs are Best: These fuel-injected bikes run best on proper NGK Laser Iridium plugs (the IA versions). Avoid the basic IX Iridium plugs as they can sometimes cause rough running issues.
- Avoid WD40: Never spray standard WD40 onto your electric clips or wire plugs. It leaves a film that can block signals. Use proper electrical contact cleaner or a fine wipe of ACF50 instead.
