🔧 Safety & Installation Tips

  • Professional Install: Brakes are critical. If you aren’t experienced in bleeding hydraulic systems, have a professional bike garage handle the installation.
  • Fluid Choice: Use only fresh, high-quality DOT 4 fluid. Never leave the reservoir open to the air longer than necessary.
  • Clearance Check: Once installed, turn the bars fully to the left and right. Ensure there is no binding or contact with fairings or tank.

Important Note:
Older 2005–2011 GTR fairings sit closer to the lever and master cylinder. Turning the bars fully left will cause this bigger aftermarket unit to hit the black panel surrounding the digital speedometer.
