Hyosung is soon no longer producing the “original” front brake master cylinders for the GT125/GT250 (product discontinuation), but you can still upgrade yours. This cylinder has enough power to push 1 disc or 2 discs , also it is 2x bigger than the OEM version. It is made in South Korea .

In fact , we personally use these South Korean aftermarket Cylinders ourselves
This is one of our donor GV that was custom converted to use dual discs sorely by use but we needed a strong master cylinder for it! (We did all the work to convert the front end & use GT650 forks) & we have sold rebuilt Hyosungs using that Cylinder from our private workshop here in North UK

AFTERMARKET Front Brake Master Cylinder – Hyosung GT125 GT125R GT250R GT250

It appears Hyosung is no longer producing the “original” front brake master cylinder for the GT125/GT250, but fear not; the aftermarket versions are still made in South Korea & are twice bigger than the OEM versions!

We are selling the aftermarket version after much extensive research & testing with our past customers on GV650/GT650 (If the big 650cc bike can stop, then the master cylinder should be good enough for the 250cc/125cc sisters!) , they have told us these particular ones seem to do a better job than the cheap china universal clones. The front brakes are more important than the rear, and as such our master cylinder is 2x bigger (physically yes) and also has more than enough power to pump 2x brake discs.

❗❕ IF YOU HAVE A “GTR” = This only fits 2012-2020 fairings (plastic panels) this is because the 2005-2011 fairings are closer to the lever & master cylinder., so if you Turn Left full lock, the BIG master cylinder will hit the black plastic that is surrounding the digital speedometer. This is important. If you have a 2005-2011 model, you must contact us first and we may order you an alternative version that is a little smaller.
