Hi again John, What a coincidence my bike has done exactly the same thing twice recently! She only did it after a spell of 60
-70 mph running. If it helps my bike has upgraded coils, plugs and caps and a pipe and has only ever been run on super unleaded from bp so cheap super market fuel not to blame. I also use liquimoly carb cleaner every third tankful. I have the flatspot on the overrun too. My guess is a vapour lock or something similar and i may replace the fuel filter. I gather 2015 was the last year the model was produced so that would explain the tyres as many bikes were not sold till much later(mine is 2019 reg) and I noticed cracks so changed them as the originals are lethal in the wet! Apart from longer higher speed runs recently mine performs perfectly and three years on I still love it. Just to add I did a 50 mile higher speed run last weekend and the bike was faultless!
Hope this helps, Dave.
