Description
Over time, the internal electric contacts of your rear brake light switch can wear out or corrode from road rain and salt, leading to a completely dead or flickering brake light. This is a vital safety part that needs a proper swap to keep you visible on local roads. This specific aftermarket sensor is a pressure-activated switch built for the combined braking layout. It mounts right into your fluid hose port on the rear master cylinder, making it a straight plug-and-play fix for your wiring loom.

📜 Confirmed Fitment Guide
Combined Braking System (CBS) Group: Fits the liquid-cooled V-Twin bobber model shown below. Check your bike shape against this photo to confirm you have the exact same model line.
- Hyosung GV125-S Bobber EFi: Fits original CBS models built from 2018 onwards.

❌ WILL NOT FIT THESE MOTORCYCLES:
- ABS Generation Models: This will not fit the GV300S, GV125S-EVO, or GV125X. These uprated models use ABS sensor networks instead of a linked CBS hydraulic switch.
- Older Carburettor Cruisers: Will not work on classic air-cooled GV125 or GV125C models. Those legacy frames use old-style rear drum brakes with manual spring pulling switches and wire tips.
🔧 Install Tips
- CBS Safety Warning: Because this switch sits directly inside your brake line master cylinder bolt hole, fitting it requires unbolting the fluid circuit. This means you will need to bleed your brakes correctly after putting it back together. Because the GV125-S uses linked CBS brakes, both front and rear lines connect to the master cylinder. ⚠️ If you are not 100% sure how to bleed air out of a linked brake system, please consult your local garage to do the work safely!
- Fresh Washers Only: Place one of the new sealing washers on each side of the hose metal eyelet before twisting the new switch bolt into the master cylinder. Do not reuse your old flattened rings.
- Check Your Plug: Ensure your bike’s ignition is completely off before uncoupling the old wires. Clean any road spray out of the harness connector socket before snapping the new white male plug into place.
