How does one fix the spark timing?

correct me if I’m wrong but that is how you set the spark timing on these carbureted bikes is by the magneto and the marks on it?

Sorry but for the life of me I can absolutely not figure out how to post pictures. Must be my iphone

anyway its the old black dash, none of those top lights onnit just the select and reset buttons.  black rev counter. 1 plug and about 3 other wires going into the back of it

any way the headlight is my main concern with the bike as i need to be able to ride at night

so going back to my previous question. If say the wires for the hi beam light possibly got fried could that have done it for the whole light?

marcel cheers for the reply you legend. So i im here looking at the bike now n was thinking when i got the bike and cranked it over for the first time, i did smell this burning smell coming from the dash area so i shut it off. So i take my fairings off have a geez at my dash harness clean it up abit but must have over looked where the smell came from. So im here looking at the loom now and see the wiring for the hi beam looks like its all taped up n jank so im assume thats where the smell come from. maybe the wires touched? Would the jank, taped up wiring connections for the hi beam cause the thing to shit itself?

i do have a spare harness with me im using to figure what wires go where. Might i add there are absolutely zero lights what so ever only one bulb in the bottom of the rev counter

Heya bro where can i get these 2 relays. The lights control and turn signals?

have no headlights, indicators, lcd screen or brake lights (08 gt250r) bike starts n rides so I assume relays are gone
