Hi everyone, so I’m wondering how to set my ignition timing. I blew my cdi up on accident messing around with it, i have now bought all new electrics for my bike so now I’m just trying to figure it out.
what marks on the fly wheel need to be lined up with what? Could someone please guide me me through it or maybe is there a photo i can follow and what way shall i turn the motor

The ignition timing is fixed by the ECU, the marks you refer to are for top dead center so providing your not touching valves etc you don’t need to worry about it.

How does one fix the spark timing?
correct me if I’m wrong but that is how you set the spark timing on these carbureted bikes is by the magneto and the marks on it?

The timing is static it’s set by a pick up coil & the cdi

No as really the timing would never need adjusting.
