    Ok,i worked out its a m8 bolt size with a thread pitch of 1.5.

    No bother mate,i wonder does anyone know what that connector is actually for.I must check it with a multimeter and see when voltage goes to it i.e igniton on ect ect.

    I have a 2010 bike,ill have a look later and post my findings here.I do know for a fact that my bike also has a two wire plug that is just sitting there doing nothing near the radiator cap area.

    Hi Edd I have have watched a vid on that issue and although I haven’t got any voltage readings as yet l did move it a bit at a time and it did have an effect on the bike and indeed it seemed to make a difference maybe when I can get the readings ( I believe I want about 1.4 volts at tick over ) l will get a better throttle response. Could the ixil exhaust and lack of high flow air filter have an effect . Many thanks for your reply .

    About 1.25 volts i believe is the sweet spot,mine was at 1.08 volts as from the factory setting and i adjusted up to 1.25 volts.The service manual shows how to test with a multimeter.

    Try testing the throttle position sensor and see what readings you get,i had to adjust mine and it makes a big difference.
