Hello,
I have a 2010 GV650 efi that i took apart to paint and now I can’t find / remember where one of the plugs connects.
The plug is a 2 wire: Black with Yellow tracer and White with Blue Tracer and it is located at the front end of the harness ( by the headlight)
I would like to know what was connected to those wires.
Thank you
**PS: the bike does not start now ( NO SPARK) and I think it may be related to the missing connection.
I checked the coils, rectifier, pick up coil..everything seems to be within manual specs.
I replaced the pickup (pulse) coil because I got F1 code C12, but that did not help, still have the code and no spark with the new pickup coil installed)
I have installed 3 extra grounds ( engine frame- frame battery- engine battery)
I hope my ECM is good ..
Thank you

They are coil wires if the wire colours are normal

I know,..it is confusing. The coils wires terminals are different and they are connected.
I looked all over the diagram trying to find were they may be connected, but I can’t find them on the diagram.
I was hopping someone with a similar bike/year would solve the mystery for me.
Thank you

I have a feeling it will be under the tank somewhere towards the back of the bike

It should be somewhere under the tank as you said or towards the front. The wires are short and the connector is at the front end of the harness by the radiator cap

I have a 2010 bike, ill have a look later and post my findings here.I do know for a fact that my bike also has a two wire plug that is just sitting there doing nothing near the radiator cap area.

Thank you very much Ed !
That eliminated one of the possible problems with my motorcycle.
I don’t understand why Hyosung would complicate our lives.
Thank you again! 🙂
