I brought the bike as a project not running. Because I know nothing about EFI and it sitting for 8 yrs not started. I find the tank brought a new petrol pump, injectors, battery coils leads plugs ECU. It’s now running and ridable but FI light flashes won’t idle and struggles to pick up speed. I have tried putting it in dealer mode but so many flashes I can’t make heads or tails.any ideas what I can try

Next time you see the red “FI” icon flash on the dash. Please count it. It is actually telling you the error code.
For example…..
10 blinks , stops , 3 blinks , stops 5 blinks
So we got 10-3-5 as an error code. We will know what that is
Sometimes if its 2 sensors , it will flash as
10-1-6 = Lambda Sensor #1
10-5-5 = Neutral SensorThen it repeats itself.
Turn the key ON & OFF 3 times MAX within 2 seconds to get flashing blinks
If you turn the key on and off 5x , it will most likely reset the ECU and the old codes gone.
Keep in mind, 2011 models use higher pressure fuel pump than the later models (blue vs black pumps) (most blue pumps are for later models) so lower pressure pump blue if fitted in your bike could be the reason you get FI warnings while riding.
Get a bottle of “injector cleaner for motorcycles” –> pour ALL of it inside the tank -> ride slow until you get to low fuel, this should help “soft-clean” your fuel lines , your injectors incase of any blockages
Use fresh CR8E plugs (no other plugs) , just the Yellow copper CR8E is best. Some people would say use CR9E at your dealer but i would run away from those dealers. If the manual says CR8E then use it as the original base plug.

I have a blue fuel pump same As what I took off My bike is a 2012 not 2011. I obviously have a big problem because there seems to be up you coat being flashed up at me. I took a video of it and try to get it analysed but no luck at the moment I’ve run injector cleaner through it no change. So today I will rip off the tank and air box and go through it all again with the information you’ve given me so far and see how I go thanks matey

Yes blue pumps = Delphi ECU only. I forgot to mention.
And good luck

Thank you I tried to get it fixed but no luck 😢 so I put it together and hopefully I find someone who can now understand and tell me what the codes are. I have a video of them for reference.
