Description
If you spot oily rings or wet patches pooling on your lower inner stanchions, your seals are done for. This kit provides two fresh internal oil seals to lock the hydraulic fluid inside your legs where it belongs. Leaving it to leak means oil will travel down the bike straight onto your front brake pads and tyre, destroying your stopping power and scoring an instant MOT failure. Swap them out early to keep your cruiser handling solidly on rough British bumps and roads.

📜 Confirmed Fitment Guide
Hyosung Models: Fits the following models below only.
- ST7 Cruiser (GV700i): 2010 to 2018
- GV125S & GV300S Aquila: Will not fit. These newer liquid-cooled V-twins use an entirely different internal stanchion and slider setup.
- Older V-Twin Cruisers (GV125 / GV250): Incompatible with the thinner front suspension legs found on the original air-cooled models.
🔧 Install Tips
- Stanchion inspection: Slide your plastic shields out of the way and run your fingernail up and down the working chrome surface. Sharp stone chips or road pitting will slice your brand-new items instantly.
- Lip protection: Wrap a layer of thin electrical tape or slick packing film over the top edge of the stanchion tube. Slide the piece down gently in your garage so the sharp metal edge cannot nick the delicate internal spring line.
- Seating depth: Avoid using metal screwdrivers to force the component into the outer slider casing. Use a proper slider tool that matches the outer diameter exactly to seat it squarely in the leg.
