This site also has the service manuals, they have all the info you could ever need. Codes, how to get them, what they mean. Etc.

The diagnostic plug is next to the battery. Its the 2 pin plug.

Bridge it with wire. Ignition on for 10 seconds. Then press and hold select on the dash for about 6 seconds or more. The code will flash either where the clock is or the red fi light will flash a number sequence in flashes.

The 2012 onwards delphi ecu bikes ” Do” store codes.

I’m pretty sure it will work on the gv650. The only difference in the ecu between gt650 and gv650 is slightly different fueling due to different airbox’s and exhaust. I want to try my tune on a gv650 and see if it needs any tweaking. Then I can release a remap/reflash for them.

Only problem I have found for the gv650 is no aftermarket high flow air filter is available. So a custom job may be required.

There is a bolt on the bottom right side of the engine, near the sight glass. This bolt goes directly to a oil gallery. Use this to feed your gauge and temp sensor. I have used it for lubricating my turbo.
