There is a socket on the bike somewhere you need a piece of wire to short the terminals now I believe it needs to be running as the hyo ecus don’t store codes, the code will display on the clock then Google it or post on here & I do have a vast array of stuff laying about & I might be able to tell you what it is, I reckon it would most likely be a o2 sensor but one thing worthing checking on the battery is there a smaller wire connected to the earth? Check this as I know if it breaks it will cause the f1 light to be on at least on the 250 it will & tbh there’s not a lot of difference between them.

The diagnostic plug is next to the battery. Its the 2 pin plug.
Bridge it with wire. Ignition on for 10 seconds. Then press and hold select on the dash for about 6 seconds or more. The code will flash either where the clock is or the red fi light will flash a number sequence in flashes.
The 2012 onwards delphi ecu bikes ” Do” store codes.

This site also has the service manuals, they have all the info you could ever need. Codes, how to get them, what they mean. Etc.

Did you download the service manual off the forum on here?
You will see instructions to switch to dealer mode.

Hi Chris,
Any luck with this?
With the run(red) switch on, turn the key on and off three times, then count the flashing sequence of the FI light.
Post it here when you have it,
You can also find this info in the service manual.
Cheers Chris.
