    Hi Marcel

When I shift to 1st gear fairly loud clicking noise can be heard and generally shifting to other gears are stiff and a bit noisy compare to say Kawasaki Ninja. It has done 3000 miles. Idle speed yesterday droped to 15k it could be the weather.

    Hi Marcel

The alternative is to get a pair of aftermarket handlebar with its clippers. If you know where to get them to let me know.

    Thanks

I have found the cheapest solution to mounting mobile sat nav while riding. I have attached two photos showing jogging case for Galaxy S7 edge £2.49 from eBay. I could clearly hear the voice without using a head set up to 40Miles/hr

Marcel if you could look at the youtube link below-showing raising handlebar on GT250R, I wonder if that can be carried out on 2018 GT 650R as photo attached. Cables seem to have enough slack to be raised.

Hi Thanks for the suggestions, the best choice was tank pad mount and bag strap-like oxford but could not find big enough case for my large mobile and there is no tank pad made for Hyosung on eBay. Clip-on bar kit is available but not as nice so I stick to the existing low handlebar. I have attached youtube link to copy & Paste for Spanish guy who raised the same handlebar for his GT250 R. Hi

Following my last topic, I bought C spanner for my GT 650 R rear preload adjustment the diameter of spanner was short but the handle was big enough to move around. I bought another adjustable C spanner 51mm-121 mm its handle is too big to move around the spring it touched rear tyre. Any idea of how I can turn the adjuster to change pre-load.

    HI

Yes, I agree dual riding is a new experience requires slow practice for safety. My GT must be different with yours in a way that mine does not have any notch or click it is a cylinder with threats. For adjustment of pre-load, it requires one full turn to count as 1 turn. I will measure the static sink, loaded sink it is recommended that 30 mm loaded sink is about an average acceptable for a single rider. I take it from there.

    Hi

I have no experience riding with a pillion, pillion has no experience as a rear rider. I am 92 KG and my pillion is 91 kg, that is why it is better to get the correct pre-load compression, looking at D Moss videos and others on u tube if rear-seat plunge too much front fork and front tyre loose grip then front wheel starts to get out of control on corners.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for your reply I am happy with factory setting on solo riding, what I liked to know is the recommended manufacturer setting for a pillion passenger, I tried with a passenger on standard-setting with rear spring sank too deep so that I readjusted both mirrors and the front tyre was wobbling out of control on the corners a bit dangerous, I guess I will try two notches down if the mirror view did not change with pillion then it should be ok.

It may be from blocked petrol tank cap, when it is about to dye or before ride trying to open the cap and let some air in if it does not dye it would be the cap preventing air into the tank causing a vacuum.

    Thanks for reply

My bike is two weeks old with tank pad and my belt or my jacket zip slightly scratched the paint finish, there are 3M clear film pre cut template for various bikes except for Hyosung these can be bought to simply apply wet on petrol tank or to buy a sheet and try to wrap it over petrol tank for protecting the painted surface
