Hi Riders
Recently bought yoke stem mobile holder for my GT650 R I realized top yoke nut has a metal cap on it, can this cap be knocked out or do I need to look for the 30mm lock nut.
Is there any aftermarket spacing kit to raise my bar handles to make it easier on my neck and back.
Thanks

Around here in UK, common way to strap a phone is a product called BUFFALO NAV BAG or OXFORD STRAP NAV which is mounted on the top stearing clamp and phone goes inside.
Cutting the nut is rare to mount an open nut to do what you are proposing.
Another way is to get a small mount accessory used by action cams to mount on the fuel tank cap, then it can be creatively used to mount a phone that way or gps unit.Last one, is to find a mount that goes on one of the blanking ports next to the clutch lever or brake side cylinder, this works on a newer generation bike (RC 2010+) as then it wont catch the screen. Personally i just put the phone in my pocket, then listen to gps via the bluetooth.
As for bars. The clip on bars , can be removed, in exchange for fitting a comet long bar at the top of the steering and use risers/mount assemblies.
The GTR clamp has blanks under neath that can be drilled through, and allow tapping new 8mm threads.
The only issue there is the screen catching on older generation hyosungs when turning lock to lock , but its less of an issue on newer generation hyosungs as the screen is a bit smaller and more forwards away from the steering area.// Meditation doesn't mean you have to sit still....

Hi
Thanks for the suggestions, the best choice was tank pad mount and bag strap-like oxford but could not find big enough case for my large mobile and there is no tank pad made for Hyosung on eBay.
Clip-on bar kit is available but not as nice so I stick to the existing low handlebar.I have attached youtube link to copy & Paste for Spanish guy who raised the same handlebar for his GT250 R. Clever idea

I have found the cheapest solution to mounting mobile sat nav while riding. I have attached two photos showing jogging case for Galaxy S7 edge £2.49 from eBay. I could clearly hear the voice without using a head set up to 40Miles/hr
Marcel if you could look at the youtube link below-showing raising handlebar on GT250R, I wonder if that can be carried out on 2018 GT 650R as photo attached. Cables seem to have enough slack to be raised.
